The city's primary and secondary schools were officially opened on February 7. It is reported that the city has completed safety and technical performance testing for total 86 school buses.

At the beginning of new term, the traffic department will supervise the school bus transportation condition in Jintan, Liyang, Wujin and Xinbei district when the students go to school and go home. All the problems found during the day will be solved by traffic police next day in order to prevent the school bus traffic accidents.
