Recently, it was learnt from the Work Conference on Sports Events of Jiangsu Province that the four tournaments hosted by Changzhou were classified among the national and provincial bests. In particulars, the Changzhou divisions of Ling-Ning China Masters and the 17th FINA Diving World Cup were awarded respectively as one of the "Best Sports Event Divisions of China" and one of the "Excellent Sports Event Divisions of China" by the General Administration of Sport of China; the Taihu Lake International Road Cycling Race (Changzhou Division) was ranked among the "Best Sports Event Divisions of Jiangsu"; and the divisions of Asian Women's Handball Qualification for London Olympic Games, the National Men's Hockey Tournament and the National Yangko Dance and Fitness Drum Championship were rated as "Excellent Pisions" by the Sports Administration of Jiangsu Province.
　　This year, Changzhou will further improve the two brand events of badminton and Ping, making the Li-Ning China Masters 2012 and the National Diving Championship 2012 & Olympic Trials a success. Meanwhile, the city will for the fist time hold national track and field competitions----the National Youth Track and Field Championships 2012. In addition, some other sports events favored by people, such as table tennis, basketball and volleyball, will also have a chance to be placed here.
