On July 1, Changzhou rolled out the first “red tourism bus route, T100, to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The route starts from Hongmei Bus Terminal and ends at Jinyuan Garden.

It covers over 13.7 km and has 51 stops, including the Memorial Halls of Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei and Yun Daiying, and the Changzhou Museum of the CPC.

The bus timing begins from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.

Four buses are looping 28 times throughout the day. Each bus is decorated in different themes, commemorating Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei, Yun Daiying, and the CPC revolutionary history.

As the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC approaches, red tourism has started to trend across the country. The term refers to visiting historical sites with a modern revolutionary legacy, a pastime that has thrived during the holidays following the effective containment of the COVID-19 epidemic in China.
